Improvisation Theater Techniques for Music Therapists: Impropsongs
Improvisation theater offers many scenic and musical possibilities to express oneself in a playful way.
Improvised songs and songs offer a level of security through clear predetermined structures that are also practiced in the course, which makes it possible to emotionally indulge in the song content. Essentially, the course offers the learning of these musical structures, group plays from the Improtheater context, as well as scenic improvisations, from which songs can emerge. At the request of the participants, there may be a block focusing on instrumental accompaniment of improvised songs. The self-awareness factor of this course is high. We address our offer to music therapists, music educators and anyone who has previous experience in singing or acting.
