The Best Practice Day is part of the Lower Austrian overall concept "Music Effectiveness and Music Therapy in Teaching, Research and Application". Music therapy has meanwhile become an important element of holistic care for patients in Lower Austria.
Therapeutic offers are supplemented by continuing education at the IMC University of Applied Sciences Krems, specialist conferences and international symposia. Niederösterreich has already hosted the World Congress for Music Therapy (2014), Best Practice Day (2015) and the Mozart and Science Congress (2017).
